How to write a professional soldier CV

Professional summary

Write how long you have served, your specialty, what you are responsible for and how many people you lead. Translate military language into company language, for example store and records instead of post titles. The employer is looking for a disciplined, responsible and well-organised person.

How to move from the army to a civilian job

Choose 2 or 3 areas where your service experience is most useful, for example logistics, transport, security or maintenance.

Recruitment to the Polish army goes through military recruitment centres, not a CV alone. This template is mainly useful for company jobs.

Tailoring your CV to the job offer

A logistics firm looks for stores and leading a team, a haulage firm for driving licences and ADR, and a security firm for command and safety. Move to the top what the job ad is about.
