How to write a jeweler CV

Professional summary

Write which pieces you make, from which metals and with which techniques. Add CAD design and stone setting if you know them, because workshops pay most for these skills.

Describe your school, courses and the pieces you have made. Prepare a portfolio with a few pieces, even in silver.

Start as an assistant at a workshop or in a store's repair department. Write which technique you want to learn first.

Tailoring your CV to the job offer

A custom workshop looks for design and contact with customers, a jewellery store for repairs and customer service, and a manufacturer for pace and series work. Move to the top what the job ad is about.
