Your first independent accountant role

If you are being promoted from junior accountant, describe the tasks you already handle on your own, such as VAT for several companies or reconciliations.

Show courses and certificates that prepare you for independent work. Accounting firms are happy to give more clients to people who document this.

Tailoring your CV to the job offer

An accounting firm looks for handling many companies and different tax forms, the finance department of a large company for closes and work with the auditor, and a foreign-owned company for reporting in English. Move what the offer is about to the top.

Does an accountant need a certificate?

The law does not require one to work in accounting, but a certificate, for example from the Accountants Association in Poland, is a big plus.
