Professional summary

Write which institution you work at, who with and with which methods. Add your qualifications and specialisms, for example special education or social therapy, because they decide which activities you can run. Also mention working with parents and other specialists.

Care and upbringing education graduate with placements at a community after-school club and a counselling centre. I ran group activities and helped children with schoolwork. I want to work as an educator at a school or a day support centre.

Experience: duties and achievements

Describe the groups you work with, assessments, activities and consultations. Show your work with parents, teachers and institutions, because an educator rarely works alone. Give numbers, for example the number of assessments or groups, and stay discreet about children's details.

Describe placements and volunteering at an after-school club, at camps or at a foundation that helps children. Write which groups you worked with and which activities you ran.

Add training and interests related to working with children. Employers value people who already know who they want to work with.
